The Guinness World Records has officially recognised Ogun State-born fashion designer Kuforiji Oluwaseun for setting the world record for the longest sewing marathon.
He achieved this incredible feat by sewing continuously for 106 hours, 55 minutes, and 20 seconds. Using only a needle and thread, Kuforiji created 18 outfits, including a full Agbada outfit within the first six hours.
He received his official certificate and plaque on Friday in honour of his achievement.
While speaking with the newsmen on Saturday in Ijebu-Ode, Kuforiji expressed his gratitude to his supporters, the people of Ogun State, and everyone who believed in his journey.
