Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State has sympathised with the Special Adviser on Special Needs, Kamil Aransi, over the death of his mother, Alhaja Silifah Aransi, REPUBLICAN NIGERIA reports.
In a condolence message signed by his spokesperson, Mallam Olawale Rasheed, the governor described her death as a profound loss, not just to her immediate family, but also to society, given her contributions during her over eight decades of existence.
The governor expressed heartfelt condolences to Hon. Aransi and his siblings who lost their mother, and conveyed deep sympathy to Alhaji Yusuf Aransi, the Olori Ebí of Imole Compound in Ede land, the nonagenarian husband of the deceased.
He urged everyone touched by the loss to draw strength from the fact that Alhaja Aransi lived a fulfilled life, as manifested in the accomplishments of her offspring in their respective endeavours, calling on them to honour her legacy by sustaining her impactful contributions to society.
“I offer my heartfelt condolences to Hon. Kamil Aransi, the Special Adviser on Special Needs, on the passing of his beloved mother, Alhaja Silifah Aransi. While the pain of losing a beloved one is always excruciating, I urge Hon. Aransi and everyone touched by this loss to take solace in the fact of a life well spent that defined Mama Aransi,” Governor Adeleke was quoted as saying in a condolence message.
“It is my prayer that Almighty Allah be pleased with Mama’s soul and grant her abode in Aljanah Firdaus. May God strengthen Hon. Aransi and loved ones to sustain the legacy of good deeds that defined Mama Aransi while she was alive.”
Meanwhile, Fidau prayers will be held tomorrow, Sunday 9th of March, at Ede Muslim Grammar School, Ede, Osun State.
The deceased, who died on Sunday, 2nd of March, has since been buried according to Islamic rites. Until her death, Alhaja Aransi was 85 years old and passed away after a brief illness.
