Dangote Refinery has reduced its ex-depot premium motor spirit price to N815 per litre.
The development comes after fuel landing cost dropped to N774.82 per litre, below Dangote Refinery’s N825 ex-depot prices.
The spokesperson of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria, Chinedu Ukadike, confirmed the development.
The development is coming amid the ongoing price war between major players in Nigeria’s downstream oil sector.
In the past months, both Dangote Refinery and Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited have engaged in a price war.
